Here is a collection of things I have found this week that struck a chord with me.
Specifically, these cake-pops from the queen of cake-pops. I DO NOT know how to dip these things. Mine never, ever turn out. Not even close. I can’t even call them “artistic.”
I want these boots! Not that I would have anywhere to wear them-or anything to wear them with–maybe if I lived in Harajuku.
I am making my must-do list for NYC and this haunted house looks intriguing but I would be too scared to actually go in. I am also making a to-eat list for NYC. Like, the Momofuku Noodle Bar Fried Chicken Dinner. My sister is a vegetarian so we won’t be attempting to go –but someday I will go back with Aaron and friends.
I made these pumpkin truffles last week. Like I mentioned above, I cannot dip things so they were horribly ugly but Aaron is popping them two at a time. Fortunately for him, none of us will touch them. There is just something so odd about pumpkin pie to begin with—let alone pumpkin cheesecake like balls dipped in white chocolate. None for me, thank you!
My friend Kristi is hilarious! She has started a website that posts funny Christmas letters. If you have one, you should send it to her. Or just check out her site and read the letters she has posted. I wonder if you will laugh like I did?
I am heading out of town and will (hopefully!) be posting from there. Cross your fingers for good internet access.
