Watermelon Granitas

Yet another refreshing way to enjoy watermelon!  I got the recipe from Ree and like usual, she didn’t disappoint.

Super, super easy.  Just cut up a bunch of watermelon, add a few ingredients, and freeze.  Serve in fancy glasses if you want to feel extra fancy.

Watermelon Granita
  • 4 cup Watermelon
  • 1 lime
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  1. Add all ingredients to the blender. You should have a pretty full blender.
  2. Blend.
  3. Pour into a shallow plastic dish and cover. Place in the freezer.
  4. About an hour later, pull it out and scrap the frozen sides. Put it back in the freezer.
  5. Do that again and again until the entire thing is frozen and scraped.
  6. Serve in pretty glasses.
